Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he worked in the pensions and insurance strategy group at Goldman Sachs, the pensions strategy group at Morgan Stanley, and at Mercer Investment Consulting. He has 28 years of investment experience and holds master's degrees in economics and econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
